my freind over the past couple of years has had major problems at times blacking out but he is still functioning talking and going own with various things and then comes out of it and has no idea of anything said or done during that time now he is being accused of stealing money from his job what can he do will he get full jail time or what he is also seekind sychiatrick help as well

He needs to get a lawyer. He probably needs the psychiatric help also. Whether or not he gets jail time will depend on a number of factors, such as, how much money was involved, and whether or not he's guilty... also, much will depend on what his lawyer and his psychiatrist can come up with.
