i am desperate no amount of excercise is helping. i am on a very healthy diet,too.
is there a substitute med to take its place?

Yes there are other medications that could be substituted but I really would do the reasearch or go to a mental health center. I can tell you that realistically your doc isn't going to be too thrilled about switching you away from something that seems to work quite well for you in many other ways. So depending on how seoquel works (whether it works with dopamine or seratonin or whatever) I would suggest you definitely learn about other medications such as risperidol and geodon to name a few.
