I've just been depressed lately and i don't know what to do.HELP!?

Answer:
I also suffer from depression/panic attacks. You need to know that you are not alone. However, see a physician. Maybe they can direct you to a therapist or prescribe medication to make u feel better. You don't need to take it for the rest of your life. So don't be intimidated! My therapist likes to say.. "you just need to take a brain vitamin for a while." See a doctor there are a lot of options for you. Or if you don't want to do that. focus on doing things that make u happy. Maybe it's just a little case of the blues!
Talk to somebody about it.
Have you been diagnosed with a disorder? See your doctor. If you're normally ok, I think I know how you feel. Get yourself involved in something and forgive yourself of your past.
Call a Mental Health Professional immediately! Do not look to the internet for help! Get professional help, look up the number for Community Mental Health in your area, or call the Department of Human Services, or Health Dept. and ask for help.
talk to your doctor and let he%26#92;she decide what course of action to take.
First visit your doctor and then get a recommendation for counselling...it really does help. Then you can use the information you are given to decide if somewhere along the line you need medication.
There are lots of things you can do without taking medication if that is what you want to do.
Good luck,,,,and please go get help you will feel much better
Are you able to say what you are depressed about?
If you feel like you are a threat to yourself- see a mental health professional ASAP. You need to narrow down what is making you depressed--job, relationships, weight etc. Then you need to do something about it, you won't magically get better. Also getting exercise- even as simple as taking a walk can help. Start a journal too, write down all problems before you go to bed and you might even sleep better. Find a friend that you trust and maybe talk to them about what is bothering you. If talk therapy doesn't work you may need an antidepressant too. Hope that helps. Just becareful w/ depression, sometimes you can get really down and it's hard to get out of the "hole."
Dear Marla H :
I agree to Smiley, PolishPrincess26 and LillyGateau above.

But better yet : IMMEDIATE BRING-UP !
Go outside NOW!
take a Deep Breath!
Another one!
Yet a third one!

RUN!
or do as best as You can... Nothing has proven better to lift Your mood than getting a little exercise and sweat... You only need about five minutes jogging until start sweating... Slow down Your pace and walk a bit...
Then Sit and relax... Watch the sky... DROP YOUR PROBS RIGHT THERE!
Stand up and walk back following a different route...

You tell me if it helped you or not!

Cheers!

Good luck! Bear hugs! ;-)
If it has been for more than 2 weeks, see a doctor ASAP, but before you go, ensure you see the information on http://www.ezy-build.com/~shaneris... Page 2. DEPRESSION, which everyone with depression should be aware of.
