Get to know some new people. Not knowing anything about you, it's hard to suggest how to do this (hang out in church? bars? join a knitting club? lol) but you need to make some new friends. Keep in contact with your friends and girlfriend but don't forget that you need people nearby too.
Try and get out more and meet new firends in the area.Go to a club even a library anywhere you can meet people and you will get friends in the area you live now.Good luck
